No Fix, No Fee Policy

Terms and Conditions

All fault finding services will be provided with a No Fix, No Fee promise.

The policy will be defined along the lines of the following:

The No Fix, No Fee policy means that if I do not possess the necessary technical knowledge or ability to resolve the problem or affect the repair, then no charge is made to the customer. Exceptions to this are:

  • If I am able to resolve the problem or affect the repair, but am only prevented from doing so by the customer requesting me not to proceed with the work, then the customer is charged for my time spent to that point.

  • If I am able to resolve the problem or affect the repair, but am only prevented from doing so because the customer does not possess the required software CD-Rom or Product Key, then the customer is charged for my time spent to that point.

  • If I provide a clear and precise diagnosis of a failed component and the customer decides not to proceed with the replacement of the component, then the customer is charged for my time spent to that point.

This policy does not apply to work related to computer virus, spyware or backup problems or to cases in which the damage or fault has been caused by a lightning strike.

This policy will not apply to travel costs to customers outside the core area. Customers will be advised of this before any visit is arranged
